JAKANDE DIVISIONAL POLICE STATION IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE DIRECTIVES OF LAGOS STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, HAKEEM ODUMOSU EVACUATED ABANDONED VEHICLES WITHIN ITS METROPOLIS, DECEMBER 13TH 2019

On the 25th November 2019, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu gave directives on the removal of all impediments from the highway, which also implies a clampdown on all violators of the state’s environmental laws in other to restore sanity and to clear all illegal traders, abandoned vehicles, roadside mechanics, miscreants, okada and other activities constituting environmental nuisance across the state, in other to ensure free traffic flow on roads across the state.

Complying with the directives from C.P. Odumosu, Jakande Divisional Police Station along Lekki-Epe Expressway, Eti-Osa engaged in a clampdown by impounding abandoned vehicles earlier today within its metropolis, as a way of sanitising the environment and ensuring the free flow of traffic for all road users especially during this Yuletide season.
